The kids are the future and involving them in our project is more than a requisite. We have experienced with the kids how enthusiastic they are, how much they love the nature and how much they do realise the preciousness.
Unfortunately the parents neither the school here in Mompiche are teaching them values about nature or consciousness. The principal is nonetheless open for discussion and new subjects to teach. We hope by next year that the kids will have in their curriculum courses like permaculture, recycling, planting vegetables and fruits, and weekly jungle tours. In Ayampe, a coastal town 6 hours from Mompiche they changed the whole school system with help of some amazing people. We hope to receive them soon in Mompiche to learn how to implement new school systems. Exciting times to come.
